We had the opportunity of chatting with the inspiring and amazingly driven Jess Ronne. We chat about her son Lucas and all of the lovely projects she has going on right now. One thing we can all take away from this interview is that we need to get back to caring for each other. Jess recently purchased a farm, Hope Farm, to provide a place for not only her son but several other families in the area. She highlights some of the challenges of being a caregiver in her documentary and throws herself into advocacy with her non-profit, The Lucas Project.
Did we mention she is also an author? Author of Sunlight Burning at Midnight, Blended with Grit and Grace, and Lovin with Grit and Grace, Mom of 8, Founder of The Lucas Project, podcast host at Coffee with Caregivers, filmmaker of the documentary "Unseen" and all-around amazing human being.
