"We hope you enjoyed this week’s episode of the Gung-fu Super Bros. These episodes were recorded several weeks ago. In that time, attacks on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have steadily increased. More than 3,800 incidents of anti-Asian hate have been documented since March 2020. We at the Gung-Fu Super Bros. condemn these attacks and the racist ideas that fuel them. Hatred of any kind towards any minority is abhorrent. We created this podcast as a celebration of Asian cinema. It is troubling to watch and hear multiple stories of our AAPI brothers and sisters' mistreatment and blatant persecution. America should be a beacon of hope and equality. We need to be better and do better. The four of us are united in our stance for tolerance and inclusivity."
