You learn how to paint, next thing you know you're selling them...you learn how to sew...next thing you know you start charging for clothes alterations...You learn how to bake...next thing you know you're mass producing desserts in all your spare time...All the fun has been taken out of it...all the stress relief has been removed and replaced with deadlines, orders, and more PRESSURE. Yes, pressure makes diamonds--but it can also destroy.
Be wise and discerning. There is NOTHING wrong with using your talents to bring in income, but when you start revolving every gift /talent God blessed you with around money--it becomes an idol. And let's not mention greed and gluttony.
