As a little girl, Lori Linford didn’t believe she was good enough. So she became an overachiever. And adding shame and secrets to who she was, she held her dignity together while the target of molestation. But in her first marriage, a sense of unworthiness stripped away any semblance of belonging to herself. One day, looking in the mirror, she said “I have no clue who you are.”
When that marriage crashed and burned, and then the next, she resurrected a power developed during the years of molestation. With that power, Lori could now separate bad things that happened to her from who she was. She no longer allows what people did or said to her to define who she is. Through this awakening process she gained her freedom of choice. Today, she’s in charge of writing the rest of her life’s chapters.

Bio
Lori used to live her life doing the right thing.
She was a straight-A student. She skipped a grade in school. She was a cheerleader, a drillteamer and an all-state athlete. Later she married a guy from high school and changed everything she was to please her husband. 10 years into that marriage, busy with 4 kids and feeling completely lost, she was unhappy, ignored, and filled with massive self-doubt...
7 years later, in the last months of her marriage, she chose to take her life back for herself and started to give herself permission to take care of her needs along with everyone else's. After finding out about her husband's affair, she asked for a divorce and started a new life.
A few years later, she remarried and was shocked to find out she was pregnant a few years later, in the middle of an already failing marriage. Her daughter's father moved out when she was 3 months old, and it was one of the darkest times in her life. All of the self-doubt reappeared, and again she had to learn to adapt and care for her five children on her own.
She dove into coaching, began listening to life coach podcasts, hired her own coach, and even went to work for a coach. She began coaching and helping women through their dark times, and began her podcast, Single and Strong. It's there she shares her messages of hope, change, overcoming divorce and embracing singleness.
