We start with some talk about the Mets and the amenities at Citi field. Coming off their huge series win against the braves and their sweep of the lowly reds, the Mets look like a team on a mission. We discuss them compared to some other teams in franchise history and how they stack up. Are they better than the 06 juggernauts? Or on the level of the late 80s?
We also discuss the issues plaguing the Yanks lately. After their crazy hot start, they have been a .500 team for about two months now, and it has their fan base in a frenzy. As they play out the final third of the season with their division and playoff position all but locked up, do they have what it takes to turn it back on in October?
We wrap with some quick football talk as we discuss our keeper league players and the Giants not-so-great start to camp.
