Michael Thomas Osterholm is an American epidemiologist, Regents Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and director of the University’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy. He is the author of several books, including his latest, The Big One: How We Must Prepare for Future Deadly Pandemics (2025).
