Episode #43: I got to catch up with an old friend from back in the college days, Jonathan Rush. We talked at length about our lives, introducing new ideas to the orchestral music experience, and our personal experiences as young black musicians in the classical music community. Hailed as "a continually rising talent in the conducting world" by the Baltimore Sun, Jonathan Taylor Rush brings passion, unique interpretation, and a refreshing energy to the orchestral experience.

Jonathan was appointed as the Assistant Conductor for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 2020. Previously, Jonathan served as Music Director of the Buckeye Philharmonic Orchestra, an orchestra on the campus of The Ohio State University. He received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting, from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
