In this share, I explore a theme that's been repeatedly on my mind this past week. It is the assumption that we will die of old age and it just isn't true. If we think of how many friends, relatives, people on the news, and others who have died "too soon" of "before their time" – we realize that our language and our beliefs perpetuate the guarantee of old age – and that there is no incarnation that promises such a lifetime.
Hopefully, without being too depressing, I wonder about how I would show up differently in each moment, how I would change my circumstance today if I didn't think I had my whole life ahead of me to figure things out. It is a short share but for me, it has had profound new thought paths. I hope it'll make you think too.
A great Christmas rom-com book I mention isIn A Holidaze by Christina Lauren - I highly recommend it if you are looking for something light during the holidays :)
