It's a worthwhile question to ask from the jump: why do we really care about diversity? Is it because it makes businesses more profitable? Is it because it makes our schools more intellectually because more perspectives are represented? Or is it because there are vast swathes of the population that have been historically oppressed and placing value on diversity is one way to try to counteract that oppression in our modern institutions?
In this episode, we sit down with our friend Christen who was previously on the podcast in the Grief Episode, and we talk about diversity in the workplace, both how it has been spoken about aspirationally, and how it has really been implemented in real life.
