"Sawmill Stories: Clinton, Iowa - Where the River Meets the Rails" is the fourth podcast in a series recorded in June and July 2021 at Clinton's Sawmill Museum. In this episode we go back in time to talk about the railroad in Clinton, its impact on the city and its families, and what it means to Clinton today. It's a roundtable discussion that takes us to the roundhouses of yesteryear and winds back to the railroad's continued significance to Clinton, the nation and the world. Featuring Matt Parbs, director of the Clinton Sawmill Museum; Morgan Pannell, the Sawmill Museum's assistant director; Gregg Obren and John Rowland, co-founders of the Clinton History Club; and Charlene Bielema, editor of the Clinton Herald.
