In todays Method Monday we talk about accessory work in the weight room

If you are utilizing the conjugate or truly any training concept that is worth using, accessory work is critical to your kids development in the weight room.

Here are 3 thing to remember when programming accessories.

🚨Injury Reduction- Choose movements based on where athletes break down. We can't prevent everything but we can try

🚨Builders- accessories can be used to bring your main lifts up. Again by finding where the athlete breaks down we can now program movements that attack that area and make it stronger.

🚨Armor- adding some lean muscle mass can help in collision sports as well as contact sports.

Coaches- coach these hard. This isn't the time for you to take a break- if you value it - if you program it- you better be coaching it!
