Description

Filipe started playing on the cobbled streets of Braga before being scouted by SC Braga at the age of 10. 
After 5 years at SC Braga he transferred to FC Porto. He became a Portuguese U19 champion there before moving to Chelsea at the age of 17. 
He made his debut at the age of 18 replacing Gianfranco Zola in the Europa League. He represented the club for 4 seasons and played under Claudio Ranieri and José Mourinho. He was part of the Premier League winning side in Jose‘s first season - Chelsea‘s first league win in 50 years. 
During Filipe’s career he played in six different countries from Portugal, England, Italy, Hungary, Cyprus and Romania. 
Currently he works for FC Porto’s TV channel as commentator and analyst.
