Rick is an American youth sport advocate and football project specialist who is best known for his research on small sided games with the Manchester United Academy. He is also co-founder of the influential ‘Give Us Back Our Game’ grassroots football programme. Rick has recently retired from a thirty year academic career in sport and football science from Manchester Metropolitan University and is currently involved with a number of football related projects.
