In the 25 years prior to starting Ako, Ngozi has become an award-winning industry professional. She started her insurance career as an Underwriter but also spent a notable amount of time in production, business development, and service roles with global insurance carriers and brokerage firms. In an attempt to play a more impactful role in the insurance industry, Ngozi started her own independent insurance agency to educate clients on insurance as a wealth-building tool. She has dedicated her career to fulfilling a mission of advancing diversity and equity in the industry and has accomplished history-making progress along the way.
