Who's controlling your life? You, your past, God? Scripture says in Deuteronomy 30:19, “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You are not a puppet on a string or the victim of someone else's bad decisions, even though they can affect us. You have been given a free will. The power to make your life be anything you want it to be. You choose. Who's controlling your life?

1. Religion is about rules. God just wants to hang out.
2. It's the goodness of God that leads to repentance, not control.
3. When we have a strong relationship with someone we want to be with them. How's your relationship with God?
