Can you say that to God? Can you say THAT to God? Turns out, you can! Psalm 137 is a great example of an arresting prayer that offers us the permission to say the unsayable to God in hopes that God will take it seriously.
How do we pray when our whole body aches for deliverance? How do we hope when tragedy strikes? How do we learn to want what God wants? In this worship series, we examine moments of longing in scripture: from the earliest days of the Hebrew people to the last book in the Bible, we will glean wisdom and fortitude from the stories of our faith forebears on what it means to long for God in a chaotic world.
