Welcome back to another episode where we talk some of the key things that contribute to our emotional vulnerability. We do this by taking a deeper look into the the DBT Emotional Regulation skill of PLEASE.
PLEASE is an acronym which stands for Physical iLlness, Eating, Avoiding alcohol and mood altering drugs, Sleep and Exercise. We have a little chat about how we can better understand the role these topics play in our wellbeing. We delve into what we can do to boost ourselves up to lower the impact the outside world has on our mental health.
TW- I briefly touch on eating, self harm and drug use so please be mindful if you are listening and may be sensitive to these topics.
