The Justice for Gerard Movement presents......
"Turning A Moment Into A Movement"
Friday December 1, 2023 @ 8:30pm
Topic: "How to Prioritize your Peace, while advocating Wrongful Convictions"
A study funded by the "National Institute of Justice" found that Wrongful Convictions can lead to feelings of guilt, fear, helplessness, devastation, and depression among all that's impacted. The study also found that Wrongful Convictions can also have a significant impact on the original crime victims and exposed a lack of services available to them. Advocating for a Wrongful Conviction for a love-one or yourself can be emotionally taxing and stressful. Dr. Shari Richardson will offer us some tips that may help you maintain peace of mind while advocating for justice.
