Description

The idea behind vaccine compensation is that if people experience any side-effects or long-term health consequences due to the Covid-19 vaccine they should be financially compensated for it. This would be done through a system of government funds that would be available for those who have been adversely affected by the vaccine. The next thing to consider is whether or not these plans would provide compensation retroactively. This would mean that anyone who was adversely affected by a vaccine prior to the plan being put in place would still be eligible for compensation. This could increase the number of people who seek compensation, as they would be more comfortable knowing that their case would be heard even if it happened before the compensation plan was in place.
