Coming off of a huge highlight knockout at UFC Mexico City, Steven "Ocho" Peterson sat down on The Fight Library podcast and talked his latest win. The featherweight won his last fight against Martin Bravo via an insane spinning back fist. Now, he takes aim to "become the new Cowboy" and take the division by storm. Steven "Ocho" Peterson, who is 18-9 a bonafide finisher. With at least ten finishes on his resume, from the ever famous spinning backfist, to olmaplatas, Peterson does it all. 


In this episode, we talk about that fight, when his next fight is (hint hint, he's chomping to get back ASAP) as well as discuss UFC 243's main event between Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya in Australia. Steven Peterson also gives his thoughts on ADD and how he copes with it in everyday life. The fight takes place on October 5th in Melborne, Australia and is co-headlined by Ragin' Al Iaquinta and Dan Hooker.


Steven Peterson won his fight in the first fight on the UFC on ESPN+ main card in Mexico City. As history had it, the main event between Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez would end in major controversy. The fight ended in 15 seconds as Rodriguez poked Stephens in the eye and Stephens was unable to continue. Peterson weighed in on the aftermath and hostility of the crowd after the fight was called off.
