Here’s a quote from Jordon Peterson that I think is worthy a lot of reflection: “Make your life about attempting to present to others what you believe to be true as clearly and as consistently as possible and at whatever cost.” - Jordon Peterson

Put that alongside the apostle Pauls statement: “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”  2 Thessalonians 2:9,10

And then consider Jesus’ statement to Pilate: “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” John 18:37

These verses seem to suggest that if we love anything that’s true anywhere we find it and hold fast to it, we are on our way to meeting up with Jesus himself, who said, “I am the truth.” Or at the very least, we begin to part company with satan about whom Jesus said, "there is no truth in him.” John 8:44

So in this world which the apostle John tells us “is under the control of the evil one” (1 John 5:19) let’s be found among those who walk through it fully armed, first with the belt of truth buckled around our waist.
