2 Corinthians 5:10 reads, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.”
See yourself standing alone before the judgement seat of Christ on that great day. Then let’s say that one by one he sets beside you each person who ever brought trouble into your life on earth or hurt you or someone close to you.
As you recall in detail what it is they did to you he asks you, “Would you like me to remember what they did to you and punish them for it?”
What would you say?
If you replied to him, “No, Lord, I don’t want you to recall anything they did to me or anyone close to me. Nothing at all.”
What would the Lord say to that? Here’s what I think he would say: from Matthew 7:1 — “with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
