Here’s something I wrote not to guilt trip myself but to challenge myself to think with greater perspective on my temptations. I wrote, In resisting temptation and to fulfill God's will for him, Jesus submitted himself to what everything in him reacted to with utter revulsion. He yielded himself to unspeakable mental anguish, agonizing physical pain, and death by asphyxiation, and you won’t say “no” to your temptations?
