Donald Bogle is the author of seven (not six, as stated in the podcast) books, including "Toms, Coons, Mulattoes, Mammies, and Bucks: An Interpretive History of Blacks in American Films", "Bright Boulevards, Bold Dreams: The Story of Black Hollywood", and most recently (not mentioned in the episode) "Hollywood Black: The Stars, the Films, the Filmmakers".
