By becoming aware of some of the masks we wear, we can better identify and address imposter syndrome. Addressing imposter syndrome can help us:

-Reduce anxiety & stress

-Immerse ourselves with out doubt and judgement

-Show up more as ourselves

-Identify new opportunities

-Acknowledge our strengths and accomplishments

-Connect with people more freely

-Improve our relationships

Today I will discuss 7 symptoms of Imposter Syndrome, the 5 imposter masks that we wear, and some empowering questions we can ask ourselves to reduce our reliance on wearing these masks. Yes, there are some times when we all must wear masks of some sort in order for a greater whole to function as intended. However, some of the masks we wear are not required. We think we need to wear them because of a story that we’ve told ourselves that has resulted in a rule that we live by. It's important that we examine these stories we tell ourselves because the less often we need to wear masks, the easier it is for us to discover our life’s purpose so we can share our gifts with the world more freely and more authentically.
