What is your comfort zone exactly? Your comfort zone can be defined by a place you feel comfortable, but your abilities are not being tested, or a place where you don't do anything new or different, aka not going outside your routine.
Having a routine to your life makes you feel comfortable and in control. Leaving that is often associate with a loss of control and feelings of discomfort. What I want you to know is having your core routine and doing the things that make you - you, is crucial! If you have a strong routine and are in touch with those core values that make up who you are as an athlete, then you can start to expand your comfort zone to include new things that help you continue to grow, discover new passions, and reach higher levels of performance.
