It’s our first podcast!

Join us today as we debut Open the Word with Circle of Friends.  Whether you’ve listened for years on the radio or whether you’ve discovered us for the first time, we’re glad you’re here.  Today we introduce ourselves and our heart behind the podcast and give you some insight on what to expect.

Some background on who we are:

Circle of Friends started out of an accountability group and grew into a ministry of encouragement to women. At its heart, it has always encouraged women to be in the Word of God in order to grow and live out their faith.

Beth Beechy is one of the founders of Circle of Friends Ministries. Radio Host and mentor for more than a decade, Beth continues to pour into the lives of women thru Radical Mentoring, Branches Worldwide and local Bible Studies. Wife, momma of five adult children, two of them married, and grandma to three adorable grandsons, Beth lives each day loving her Savior, grateful for the privilege of prayer, the Word of God, and the everyday blessings He bestows.

Gwyn McCaslin came to faith as a young girl, eventually going on staff with the Navigators before completing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a single woman, she embraced motherhood through foster care and adoption. Having exited the world of secular counseling, her passion is to teach the Word of God to the younger generation. She has been a Circle of Friends radio host for almost a decade. She continues to serve through teaching and discipling women in the Word of God through her local church.

Missy Horsfall, a pastor’s wife for more than thirty years, has hosted and produced Circle of Friends radio for over a decade. Co-author of several books, including fiction titles Love Me Back to Life and Legacy of Fools, and non-fiction Can You Tell This is a Knock0ff, Finding Your Identity in Christ, she has also blogged and contributed to numerous devotional books. Wife, mother, and Mia to over twelve grandchildren, Missy’s heart is to encourage women to love and follow Christ.
