Making a small business website is easy, right?

Here we are back to the regular schedule for the podcast! And we're recording from the new studio room.

So, last week I had a conversation with one of my Udemy students about web building. She realized that my class (Wordpress & X Theme for Beginners) didn't cover big parts of web development. In the class I teach people how to make a website with Wordpress and X Theme. I don't teach creative writing, photography, graphic design, podcasting, video content creation, full Search Engine optimization, and more. There's a lot that goes into building a professionally crafted website, which is why there are so many web developers out there.

It's a big job! And most likely, if you're a small business owner, you've already got a job. So while you can build and maintain your own website, you might just want a professional to help you out. Honestly, I'm glad my student came away realizing she needed to hire a professional designer for her business. It means the class demonstrated there's a lot more to this.
