A farmer has a specific gift when it comes to handling agriculture. They have the knowledge and skill to render crops from their labor. This gift in the simplest form allows them to provide for themselves. However, once a farmer begins to utilize this gift to benefit others instead of simply for his own livelihood his gift now becomes fruitful. He has now established a means of food for others, which in return has warranted him greater than he may have anticipated. There is a difference between your gift & your fruit. Your gift has been granted to you because you were uniquely designed to have certain traits & skills that only you can do the way that you do them. However when we begin to use these gifts for the service of those around us that is when life truly becomes fruitful.
We are all born with a gift, but it is when we begin to use our gifts to SIRvice others that we become fruitful. I had the chance to sit down with Co-Owner of Healthy Living Kitchen, Alysha Ellis, to discuss how the fruit we produce is just as important as the products we buy.
