Daniel Ivy joins the podcast to discuss the the housing crisis in the Eugene/Springfield area. Ivy is the founding member of YIMBYES (Yes In My Back Yard Eugene Springfield), a newly forming non-profit that seeks to empower community stakeholders to say YES to housing affordability for ALL. YIMBYES believes that housing is a basic human right and that ALL people should be housed. Community involvement in this process is critical to strengthening and diversifying our cities as a whole.
