Personal Background:
- Father of 3 (a son and two daughters) - youngest just graduated
- Elder at Bethel Church
- Bio in a nutshell: Jesus, BBQ, & Sports!
- One of three brothers (middle child)
- Dad is from North Carolina (Go Tar Heels!)
- From a small town, Four Oaks
- Dad was the best athlete he has ever seen: 5’8, could dunk, and was the fastest guy around
Faith and Life:
- Faith sums up Zenon's story and that of his family
- Grew up in Port Townsend
- Graduated from O'Dea High School
- Really encountered Jesus in college at WSU (Go Cougs!)
- Faith is the center of who he is and who his family is
Sports and Memories:
- Favorite sports memory: Hitting a home run in the 12-year-old Little League All-Star game
- Favorite thing about athletics: Teamwork (doing life together)
- As a parent of young athletes: Doing life with other parents
- Watching the progression and growth of players is one of his favorite aspects of sports
FCA and Its Mission:
- Let's talk about FCA: To lead every coach and athlete in a growing relationship with Jesus and His church
- Combining Jesus and sports
- We are so passionate about our sports (it could become an idol if we're not careful)
- The purpose: Find a way to glorify God through sports and make Him known through the platform sports gives us
