Joe Uscinski, PhD, is a Political Scientist at the University of Miami. He studies public opinion and mass media, with a focus on conspiracy theories and related misinformation. He received his bachelor's degree from Plymouth State University, his Master's from University of New Hampshire, and his Doctorate from University of Arizona. His research has appeared in Journal of Politics, Political Research Quarterly, and Critical Review among other scholarly outlets. He has written for the Atlantic, the Washington Post, The Guardian, Newsweek, Politico, VOX, The New York Times and more.
