Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, KCIE, FASc (15 September 1861 – 12/14 April 1962),[1][2] also referred to by his initials, MV, was an Indian civil engineer, administrator, and statesman,[ who served as the 19th Diwan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918.
