We talk about Sam Soko's 'Softie'. Filmed over 7 years, Softie is a documentary film about Kenyan political activitst Boniface Mwangi who journeys over the years from photojournalist, to activist to running for MP of Starehe constituency in Nairobi. The films look at this journey from his perspective and his families perspectives showing the difficulties for both of them.
