What do you do when you feel an emotion?
Are you in the habit of distracting yourself from it?
Do you answer the emotions with something outside of you?
Consuming something to help us distract or satisfy an emotion will have us continually going to these distractions as our ‘solution’ to feelings.
There won’t be a space left for the true solution of emotions if we answer all discomfort with a form of distraction.
There is another way - and it’s what you actually want.
It’s not a way to cope - it’s something you create.
