This week in another Naked Manologue, I talk about a friend who passed away six months ago, whose birthday is in October. This leads into our next episode that will explore grief in more detail.
In my friends' honor, I'm embarking on an ambitious expedition for October: "Horror Movies with Friends," an all-month long horror movie talk show coming to YouTube and IGTV. 31 days, 31 movies, 31 different guests and 31 different drink pairings provided by small businesses I admire. It might sound antithetical, but I'm trying to do this in the same way I approach this podcast. To coincide with the event, I'm running a fundraiser in my friend's name through The Trevor Project. I will update with more information when it is available.
