Meet Goki, a friend I met on the Marvel.com message boards when I was 13 years old going by the moniker DrDoom2099. While Goki's real name and whereabouts remain a secret, the community we created for each other is not! Goki and I travel back to the golden age of the Internet to discuss the online identities we created for ourselves, the online community we discovered, online “girlfriends,” the delight and fear of meeting online friends in person and how social media has changed our comfort level on the Internet.
