مکہ کی بستی کافروں سے بھری ہوئی تھی. حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اﷲ عنہ، حضور صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم کی محبت سے سرشار تھے حضور صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم سے التجاکی کہ مجھے اجازت دیجئے کہ میں لوگوں کو اعلانیہ آپۖ کی رسالت کی اطلاع دوں اور آپ سے فیض یاب ہونے کی دعوت دوں. آپۖ نے فرمایا: اے ابوبکر ! ابھی ذرا صبر سے کام لو. ابھی ہم تعداد میں کم ہیں. حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اﷲ عنہ پر ایمان کا غلبہ طاری تھا. انھوں نے پھراصرار کیا حتی کہ حضور صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم نے اجازت دے دی

In Mecca, the Polytheists attacked Abu Bakr beating and injuring him severely. Utbah bin Rabiah also struck you. They inflicted severe blows, leaving you wounded. Abu Bakr belonged to the Banu Tamim tribe, and when your tribe heard the news, they came running to your aid. They Rescued Abu Bakr from the polytheists and took you to their homes. Seeing your delicate condition, they became certain of your impending death.
They laid Abu Bakr down in a bed and brought you back to the Holy Mosque (Masjid al-Haram). They vowed that if Abu Bakr passed away, they would kill Utbah bin Rabiah as retribution.
حضرت #ابوبکر# صدیق رضی اﷲ عنہ بے ہوش تھے اور لوگوں کا خیال تھا کہ وہ جانبر نہ ہوسکیں گے. وہ دن بھر بے ہوش رہے. جب شام ہوئی تو آپ کو ہوش آیا، آپ کے والد ابوقُحافہ اور آپ کے قبیلے کے لوگ آپ کے پاس کھڑے تھے، ہوش آتے ہی پہلی بات انہوں نے یہ کہی کہ رسول اﷲ صلی اﷲ علیہ وسلم کہاں ہیں اور کس حال میں ہیں . ان کے قبیلے کے لوگ سخت برہم ہوئے اور انہیں ملامت کی کہ جس کی وجہ سے یہ ذلت و رسوائی تمہیں اٹھانی پڑی اور یہ مارپیٹ تمہیں برداشت کرنی پڑی، ہوش میں آتے ہی تم پھر اسی کا حال پوچھتے ہو. ان عقل کے اندھوں کو کیا خبر تھی کہ ان کی خاطر سختیاں جھیلنے میں جو لذت ہے وہ دنیاداروں کو پھولوں کی سیج اور بستر کیمخاب پر بھی حاصل نہیں ہوتی؟
