#432MountainOfUhud Under the leadership of the Muslims was undertaken by the #HolyProphet SAW peace be upon him and his progeny. The outcome of this Battle cannot be classified as a clear Victory or Defeat, as it was not a straightforward conquest, victory, or defeat like the Battle of Badr. Both sides suffered heavy losses, and at times, Muslims gained the upper hand, while at other times, the polytheists (Mushrikeen) had the advantage. However, in the end, the polytheists' army withdrew from the battlefield without engaging in a decisive confrontation and returned to Mecca.

جنگ عُہد کا آغاز مشرکین کی طرف سے ہوا جب ابوعامر نے تیر اندازی کی۔ اس مرحلہ پر نو 9 افراد مشرکین کی طرف سے آئے جو سب قتل ہوئے۔ دوسرے مرحلے میں مشرکینِ مکہ نے اکٹھا بھر پور حملہ کر دیا۔ اس دوران ان کی کچھ عورتیں ان کو اشعار سے اشتعال دلا رہی تھیں تاکہ وہ غزوہ بدر کی عبرتناک شکست کا داغ دھو سکیں۔ ابتدا کی زبردست جنگ میں مسلمانوں نے مشرکین کے کئی لوگوں کو قتل کیا جس پر مشرکین فرار ہونے لگے۔ مسلمان یہ سمجھے کہ وہ جنگ جیت گئے ہیں چنانچہ درہ عینین پر تعینات اصحاب نے حضور صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم کی یہ ہدائت فراموش کر دی کہ درہ کسی قیمت پر نہیں چھوڑنا اور درہ چھوڑ کر میدان میں مالِ غنیمت اکٹھا کرنا شروع کر دیا۔ صرف دس افراد درہ پر رہ گئے۔ خالد بن ولید (جو اس وقت مسلمان نہیں ہوئے تھے) نے موقع غنیمت جانتے ہوئے کوہِ احد پہاڑ کا چکر لگا کر درہ پر قبضہ کر لیا اور مسلمانوں پر یکدم پیچھے سے وار کر دیا۔ اسی اثناء میں یہ افواہ گرم ہوئی کہ حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم شہید کر دیے گئے ہیں۔ یہ سن کر اکثر اصحاب نے ہمت ہار دی اور راہِ فرار اختیار کی۔
The mountain of Uhud was at the backs of the Muslims. On a pass there, the Prophet صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم Stationed fifty archers under the leadership of Abdullah bin Jubair to prevent the enemy from attacking from that direction.
یہ واضح ہو گیا کہ حضور صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم کی ہدایات کو فراموش کرنے یا عسکری نظم و ضبط کو ترک کرنے کا کیا نتیجہ نکل سکتا ہے
It has become clear what the consequences can be of forgetting the teachings of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, or abandoning military discipline and order
