We live in a world where people are told that they are the result of a meaningless, random process called evolution. Their lives are a result of nothing more than a series of convenient accidents and as a result men and women are driven to the conclusion that their lives have no meaning or purpose. The ramifications of this thinking are catastrophic, and result in life being a long progression of disappointments.
The truth of Scripture is exactly opposite of that;
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
Psalm 139:13-14, 16 ESV
