Detective Cool-Guy McGee, recently exiled from his hometown of East Coast City, gets his first case in his new hometown of Savannah- tracking down the stolen gold Shoehorn of the Fatale family fortune. Plagued by his nemesis; reporter Fedora Jones, as well as a mysterious Faye B. Trayer, Detective Cool-Guy is thrown into a race against time to recover the missing heirloom.
