Description

· John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

· Main Idea: Wisdom is the ability to choose the path of peace.

· Proverbs 3:13 “Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding”

· There is a gap between the way we value wisdom and the way the Bible values wisdom.

· 1) Where do you seek understanding? (vs. 13)

· 14 for she is more profitable than silver

 and yields better returns than gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies;

 nothing you desire can compare with her.

16 Long life is in her right hand;

 in her left hand are riches and honor. Proverbs 3:14-16

· 2) What do you value the most? (vs. 14-16)

· Time spent gaining wisdom is never lost!

· 17 Her ways are pleasant ways,

 and all her paths are peace.  Proverbs 3:17

· 3) What path are you choosing? (vs. 17)

·  She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;

 those who hold her fast will be blessed. Proverbs 3:18

· 4) Are the rhythms of your life consistent with God’s Wisdom? (vs. 18)

· LIFE Groups can help you develop the rhythms that look like God’s wisdom.
