·      Easter is a day to speak well of God.

·      Today, tell someone what the resurrected Jesus has done in your life!

·       4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

·       Romans 8:38-39 - 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

·      Jesus’ resurrection means we live in joy.

·       6 In all this you greatly rejoice

·       Is it really possible to live this way?

·       Jesus’ resurrection changes how we see hard
times.

·       6bthough now for a little while you may have
had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These
have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

·       God allows trials in your life so you can know how strong your faith is.

·       Lord, give me strength.  I am counting on you to work.  Help me pass this test.

·       Jesus’ resurrection means we love him.

·       8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and
even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

·       Does your life show evidence of loving Jesus?

·       Jesus’ resurrection means our souls are saved.

·       9 for you are receiving the end result of your
faith, the salvation of your souls.

·       Do you need a fresh start?

·       Do you need hope?

·       Do you need to claim your inheritance?
