Description

·      Philippians 4:9 -What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (ESV)

·      Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.  - Phil 3:17

·      Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. - 1 Cor 11:1

·      For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.  - Phil 3:18-19

·     Practice the things you have seen in me that point to christ.

·      Is your life a blessing to those that are around you?

·      4:9a What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things,

·      Lord, help me to live out my saving faith before the watching world

·      4:9b and the God of peace will be with you.

·      Practice the things that make for peace

·      God help me see your blessing in my pain, help me to rejoice

·      God help me to trust you timing and faithfulness and your will

·      God help me to be the first to forgive

·      God help me to refocus when my thoughts lead to worry

·      Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the
Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Matthew 6:31-33
