Nina is an absolute legend in BMX who has shredded for years and earned the respect of the vast majority of BMX.
Recently she brought attention to the fact that Women's freestyle BMX will be in the Olympics before it will have an official medalled event in Xgames. With that, we had an opportunity to talk about her history with Xgames as well as the history of women's BMX with Xgames and her feelings about the whole situation and what it has become within BMX.
Rather than asking the exact same questions that have been beaten into the ground, we dug deeper and responded to a few of the different points brought up by some in hopes that considering both sides of the situation might help the conversation.
