Description

At the turning point of Vincent Van Gogh's final moments of his life, the underappreciated painter struggles to find others who can see or understand the world the way he does. Meanwhile, during the economic turmoil of the Great Recession, Fern joins a group of nomads who help her piece back together a life that she had lost. On today's episode, I review both "At Eternity's Gate" and "Nomadland", and discuss how the themes of finding purpose goes in tandem with the feeling of community and belonging.

Other titles discussed: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Kaytranada, Aaliyah
