Luke 13:6–9 records the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree for us, and in a scant four verses is there contained a sober warning for all of us. While you may have read it in passing (perhaps many times, even), have you ever pondered over just what it means for you? Does it even apply to you at all? Whether you're already familiar with this parable or have no recollection at all of it, today's message may well be an apt reminder as we, Lord willing, live out the rest of our days in these turbulent times.
