Have you ever been afraid to say what you’re afraid of?
Do you think you’re the only one who has felt this fear?
What do you do when you’re afraid? Do you hide?
Or do you seek help?
This episode is for you if:
Afraid people will reject you or think you’re weird or weak if you reveal your fears to them.
Struggle feeling like everyone else has gotten over this issue and you’re still struggling with it.
Hide from people when fear hits instead of seeking out your friends.
Most leaders I’ve met share the wins but not usually the fears. They say: “It’s lonely at the top.”
Leaders are afraid if you see weakness, people won’t follow them.
The opposite is true. When leaders are their authentic selves, they give others the courage to do the same.
Friendship works the same way.
1. Friends are Vulnerable When you are brave enough to be vulnerable, you help others do the same.
2. Friends ask for help Ask for what you need. Support your friends when they ask for what you need.
3. Friends Celebrate each other Have fun and celebrate each other's progress.
It’s way more fun than comparison!
When you do these things, it’s not lonely at the top because you’re friends are right there with you as you support one another. And, hey, it’s way more fun that way too!
