As I'm in the book of Genesis which I'm still on, I've completed reading chapters 8,9,10 which talks about the flood and the reseeding of the flood. Hopefully those of us that reads the Bible know about the story of Noah how he was the hope the Lord used to be a beaken of Hope in a dark world in Noah's time. Nevertheless, we're also called to be the light of the world Matthew 5:14-16 KJV (Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.) Ask yourself are you the hope needed in this dark world?
