Hi, I'm learning with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to learn how to love self genuinely with the wisdom and understanding of how God sees me; Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. It's really hard for me to love myself being that I come from a family that did not know how show nor express love. There is many forms of love for instance, the Agape Love (Godly love), Philistia Love(Brotherly love), and there is the love for self; Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. For all of us as believers we can say we do love the Lord thy God with our heart, soul, and mind; but do we love ourselves if we do not love ourselves how can we say we love our neighbors; remember you and I and everything of this earth are God creations.
